While Christina Wood has been part of Stevenson High School for over 20 years, her career began 25 years ago at a small private school, Regina Dominican. At Regina, her colleagues thought she would be the perfect person to head the technology committee (primarily because she was the youngest person on staff and young people “know all about those things”). It turned out to be a fortunate turn of events, as she truly believed in the need for effective professional development in technology. In 2004, Christina completed a Master of Science Education degree, specializing in Integrating Technology in the Classroom. Throughout her time at Stevenson, Christina has considered it a privilege to have worked collaboratively with so many colleagues willing to pioneer successful, cutting-edge uses of technology in the classroom.
