Programming. It’s kind of a big deal, but there’s more to learn than just logic. Sphero Edu incorporates STEAM activities and the 4Cs – all with Sphero robots. This presentation session is designed to teach individuals about the Sphero Mini, Sphero 2.0 or Sphero SPRK+ robot and how it can be used in many cross-curricular activities promoting STEAM. These activities were created by fellow teachers utilizing little to no coding in order to lessen any sort of intimidation associated with programming as well as to promote activities to younger audiences. Any code-based activities demonstrated are already pre-coded and available FREE online through Sphero EDU to enhance their teaching environment with the power of STEAM.
This is a very hands-on workshop which will have multiple stations for you to float around to as you wish.  I will have at least 15 Sphero SPRK+ robots available for you to connect to, but you will need to use your own device to connect with.  Please download the free Sphero EDU app and create an account (or you can log in with Clever or Google).  The app is available on the App Store, the Mac App Store, Google Play Store, Windows Store, Amazon App Store, and Chrome Store which are all available through here: https://edu.sphero.com/d
