Literature has been around for ages, but how do we make it relevant to today’s students? Start off by telling them “this is not your grandma’s English class! In this session, I’ll share how I make my English classes “lit” using a variety of tools and structures to enhance literature instruction. We’ll discuss how to get your students reading, discussing, and even rapping with passion! Through tools like Flipgrid, Twitter, WeVideo, GSuite, Makey Makey, etc., and structures like Genius Hour, Flipped Instruction, and Book Clubs, we can make literature class the most exciting, engaging class of the day!
