Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.

In our session, participants will experience technology tools that support English Language Learners and incorporate 21st Century Learning skills. We will model how to embed technology across the four domains of language and strengthen students’ cognitive academic language proficiency.

Participants will engage in a 5E cycle for each of the technology tools:
Facilitators will Engage participants in finished examples created with the tool,
Participants will Explore the tool independently as students,
Facilitators will Explain the nuances of using this tool and support learning in small groups,
Discussions will Extend the possible uses and applications of the tool, and
Participants will Evaluate the tool’s use in their context and self-assess their understanding.

This structure provides deeper understanding and immediate application of the tools to participants’ teaching context. Participants will leave with ideas, experience, and support for the use of the free tools Padlet, Flipgrid, Book Creator, and Adobe Spark.
