It is no secret that the education landscape has seen a substantial influx of digital learning technologies over the past few years. The digitization of classrooms and the increased adoption of edtech products are not only supposed to modernize 21st century classrooms but also increase equity, while enhancing and personalizing learning for all students. Despite the immense amount of time, energy and money invested in edtech implementation however, there is a great deficiency in research and tools that examine the utilization and effectiveness of edtech products. Join a K-12 district leader as she illustrates how her district is using a rapid-cycle evaluation (RCE) tool to collect and analyze data and discusses how to use evidence to inform important decisions that improve student outcomes. This session is perfect for anyone who can benefit from making evidence-based decisions in educational settings, including educators, administrators and district leaders.
