Coaching Teachers: Leveraging Technology for Fostering Higher Order Thinking Skills

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

See how our tech integration coaching team blends SAMR and Bloom’s Taxonomy to help teachers more effectively leverage technology. Experience our HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) based philosophy in action while getting an inside view of our teacher PD space (The HOTSpot), program development, and teacher tech learning program. Attendees will experience the creation of our tech integration coaching team and how we emphasize the importance of understanding the “why” while blending SAMR & Bloom’s Taxonomy to help our teachers more effectively leverage technology. Teachers, coaches, and administrators will gain an inside look at how we use our PD space (The HOTSpot) to create a culture of peer to peer learning. In this interactive session, educators will have the opportunity to learn and experience our coaching philosophy while customizing it to fit their school’s needs. Attendees will work together to develop action based plans ready to bring back for immediate implementation.
