Using Epic! to Enhance a Reading Program

By using an app like Epic! teachers can spark the interest in reading with their students. We read some great biographies and even had some read to us. Then, we learned to take notes on our chosen person. Next, we wrote a life summary in chronological order. Our final project was to type the summaries and share a poster we created to depict who we read about. It was a great way to read nonfiction, integrate technology, and present what we learned to our classmates.
