Social media lends itself to a multitude of applications in the classroom and in school-wide events. It encourages interaction and collaboration among students while nurturing a student-centric learning environment. Utilizing a multitude of platforms, including Twitter, Snapchat, Padlet, and Edublogs, students gain unique, creative practice in research, communication and presentation skills within digital environments that extend learning beyond the four walls of a classroom.
