Breakout of GSuite! - How to “Break In” Staff

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Learn how using a digital breakout deepened the District teachers’ understanding and comfort using Gsuite in their classroom and helped them grasp the value of Google Suite in their work-life. Although we had been offering sessions on GSuite for the past five years, the teachers learned more about GSuite during this breakout than in any previous PD session. Teacher teams completed challenges in Docs, Drawings, Forms, and Slides in order to unlock digital clues. The last clue led to a physical lock box to the Breakout of GSuite! In the session, we will share how we differentiated teams, the breakout process used, as well as templates, tips, and enticements. If you have never tried a breakout, this is an easy and exciting one to use. We will walk you through the steps and discuss ways that it can be tailored to any content area.
