You are most likely familiar with design thinking, the process that companies and individuals use to solve problems and create new products. You may have even learned the process at a workshop or conference session (perhaps involving building something with foil and popsicle sticks). Believing this process is an important, future-ready skill for our students, we set a goal this year of implementing design thinking throughout our entire K-12 school, from student projects, to teacher professional development, to redesigning learning spaces. Come hear about our approach and how our students are benefitting from it (and yes, foil and popsicle sticks are still involved!).
