Technology in schools has evolved recently into a utility that facilitates many of our central organizational goals. This discussion will hinge on the question of whether or to what extent our organizations have intentionally structured and designed school technology departments to respond to the specific goals of our organizations. In many cases tech departments have grown organically, the question we need to ask now is whether this is sufficient to meet the new and increasing demands of our school communities.
