Over fifty years ago, president John F. Kennedy said. "We choose to go to the moon not because it is easy, but because it is hard." Today, this approach inspires Google's X Lab to focus on radical solutions to huge challenges using breakthrough technologies. More importantly, any educator can take a moonshot in education by focusing on an innovative solution to a meaningful problem using appropriate technology. Using the framework of design thinking, this session provides an opportunity for participants to explore big problems in schools, imagine prototype solutions, and consider how they might test and iterate on their prototypes. This session aims to empower you to create the future you want to see in schools.
