#ICE19 Annual Conference

This session will focus on the process United Junior High School used to roll out their instructional coaching model in their building, how they fostered a culture of collaboration and growth, the expectations of all stakeholders, as well as adopting as a building a growth mindset when it comes to instruction. The session will also focus on the relationships developed between the teacher and the instructional coach as well as the confidentiality that exists between the teacher and coach. UJH has adopted a culture in which teachers have the freedom to fail, reflect, and grow as educators throughout the process. The session presenters will discuss the implementation of coaching cycles as well as share their own success stories thus far after nearly a year of instructional coaching.
