In today’s 24/7 digital world, we have instant access to all kinds of information online. Educators need strategies to equip students with the core skills they need to think critically about today’s news & media. Join us as we look into; how where we get our news can impact our perceptions, how we can use media as a tool and not something that uses us, and how we can support our school communities navigate a media-saturated world.  We will take a dive into some of the latest research on how fake news may fool our students or even us and explore four tips to promote a foundation of news & media literacy.   You will leave with resources that you can use immediately in your classroom.
