Synchronous Distance Learning--Are You Ready?
Have you ever thought about expanding the walls of your classroom to include live museum visits? Have you ever considered co-teaching your course with another teacher or expert on your subject? Would your district benefit from having courses having low enrollment courses in more than one school taught by one teacher? Synchronous distance learning is the answer to these questions. Synchronous distance learning/classroom video conferencing would allow smaller school districts to share teachers to combat our teacher shortage. It could be the answer for larger districts to continue to offer low enrollment courses among buildings. High quality professional development activities without travel could remove the cost barrier for school districts. Participants will learn about the hardware and software requirements, costs, and implementation issues followed by a question and answer period.

K-12 Cybersecurity Best Practices
We will look at some best practices that can be implemented to protect your School District's network and computer systems as well as safeguard the information of your staff, teachers, and students.
