Adam Ford

Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT)
Adam Ford, CISSP, serves as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT). During his 18 years with the State of Illinois, Adam has served as a network engineer and architect designing, implementing and supporting LAN, Data Center and WAN Environments. He joined DoIT information Security as the manager of the Security Engineering where he worked to establish secure configuration management practices and advanced protective technology deployments while also embedding security into agency projects all along the Software Development Lifecycle. In addition to responsibilities for oversight of the State of Illinois Security Operations Center and Security Awareness training for State of Illinois systems, Adam also manages the Election Cyber Navigators in partnership with the State Board of Elections and the Illinois State Police’s Statewide Terrorism and Information Center. He earned a BA from Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL.
