Barrington 220
Teacher Librarian
Barrington, IL
For the past fourteen years, I have been employed by Barrington 220 as a K-12 licensed school library information specialist. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, I began my career in 1996 as an elementary classroom teacher and curriculum designer at Lincoln School in Mundelein. I continued as an elementary teacher in St. Paul, Minnesota, where I began my MLIS degree at the College of St. Catherine. I finished my degree at Dominican University and have enjoyed the bustle of the elementary library ever since. I completed my Illinois Principal Licensure MA in April 2017 and look forward to pursuing leadership opportunities in the future. My passions include future-ready learning environments, meaningful technology integration, children's literature, and my own three little readers, ages 12, 10, and 6.
