Keith Bockwoldt

Hinsdale High School District 86
Chief Information Officer
Hinsdale, IL
Keith has more than 20 years of experience working in the field of education. As a visionary leader, he is a champion for public education and the infusion of educational technology with a focus on innovation. He developed policies and programs to protect District assets. In his previous role at High School District 214, he coordinated the development of a Cybersecurity Apprenticeship program where students learn the skills to enter the Cybersecurity field after high school.

Keith is a Board Member for the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), a nonprofit organization that serves as the voice of K-12 school system technology leaders in North America. CoSN’s mission is empowering educational leaders to leverage technology to realize engaging learning environments.

Keith was honored to receive the National School Boards Association "20 to Watch" designation in 2013. The '20 to Watch' honorees offer school board members and other leaders real-world stories that help them evaluate the intersection of policy and practice when it comes to today’s emerging technologies. In the same year he was selected as a Top 50 Innovator in Education by the Center for Digital Education, and in 2015 the “What’s Your Story” award program that celebrates the stories of challenges, survival, and how people make a difference in their workplace.
