Monica meets the diverse needs of teachers, students and learning environments by providing educational services that will enhance performance. Her professional experience includes serving as a Special Education teacher for grades K - 12, Special Education Case Manager, Freshman Academy Coordinator, City-wide Special Population Liaison, Instructional Coach and Framework for Teaching Specialist for Chicago Public Schools.

Monica regularly conducts school based needs analyses, develops and implements strategic systematic plans, coaches to provide instructional and environmental support in a variety of educational settings for teachers and instructional leaders. She facilitates PDs, modifies, adapts and transforms existing curriculum to meet professional standards and the diverse needs of students, teachers and instructional coaches. Her experience and training allows her to readily identify discrepancies between desired outcomes and instructional practices. Her years of successful experience have given her the skill and ability to identify instructional gaps that impede the development of transferable academic skills as well as instructional strategies that scaffold and increase instructional effectiveness. As an effective leader, Monica has demonstrated success in taking action within different environments to create situations for people to build their capacity and maximize their growth.
